Kemah, TX - Spencer Kevin Moak, Sr., of Kemah, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on January 30, 1971, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Spencer was the son of Sue and James "Joe" Moak, Sr. Spencer dedicated his career to the refinery industry, where he earned the respect of countless coworkers, employees, and friends who became family. Spencer was preceded in death by his beloved father, James "Joe" Moak, Sr.Spencer is survived by his wife, Shannon Brunson Moak; his mother, Sue Corban; his children, Spencer Moak, Jr. (Amanda), Shelby Moak, and Summer Moak McNulty (Brandon); his stepchildren, Kaylee Austin and Jacob Austin; his grandchildren, Harper Allen, Spencer "Tripp" Moak III, Malcolm Moak, and Nathan Moak; his brother, James Moak, Jr. (Kitty); and his nieces, Kimberley Simpson and Kelsie Moak. Pallbearers were Spencer Moak, Jr., Jacob Austin, Joel Johns, Reed Brunson, Daniel Brunson, Preston Radley, Kirbie Hunley, and Jack Corley.
