The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety was kept busy over the weekend with multiple fires. The fire is considered suspicious, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety. The department was assisted at the scene by the Benton Township Fire Department, the St. Joseph Department of Public Safety, the Lincoln Township Fire Department, and Medic 1 Ambulance. A total of 17 firefighters and public safety officers were present at the scene. Then on Sunday, the Benton Harbor Public Safety was called on mutual aid to another house fire, this time at Highland and Crystal in Benton Township.
