(KCCR)- The Trail of Governors expanded by one Friday morning with the unveiling of a statue for former Governor Kristi Noem. Sculptor John Lopez now has four pieces on the Trail and this one for him is special. Noem, who wasn’t originally scheduled to take part in the ceremony says she appreciates the work of the Trail of Governor’s Foundation. Noem also appreciates that the Foundation allowed Iceman to be included in her statue. Noem and Iceman are placed on the south side of Hilger’s Gulch on the north side of Church Street.
