The LA Jazz Festival featuring John Legend, Janelle Monáe, Ezra Collective and many more has been cancelled. Organizer Martin Ludlow, a former LA city council member told the Los Angeles Times: “Due to significant, unanticipated last-minute public safety and municipal costs associated with the final permitting of the On The Beach Festival, we have reached the decision to unfortunately postpone this year’s inaugural LA Jazz Festival. Elsewhere, Ezra Collective announced their fourth studio album, ‘Here Because Of Hope’, earlier this year. The London jazz group will release the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Dance, No One’s Watching’ on September 18 via Partisan.
