Four members of staff from Bellway's Essex division took part in a litter pick at Shoebury Common Beach, close to the company's Garrison Point housing development. Equipped with litter pickers and high-visibility clothing, the volunteers combed the beach, promenade and grassed areas around the beach huts, removing rubbish left behind by visitors. Bellway is currently building 210 homes at Garrison Point on land between Ness Road and Barge Pier Road, part of the historic Shoebury Garrison site.
