Responding to the development, Russian state-aligned publication Moskovsky Komsomolets commented that the FBI director should bring tangible offerings if seeking assistance. Citing US officials familiar with Patel's itinerary, Politico confirmed that Patel is scheduled to visit Russia on October 14-15, with planned stops in Moscow followed by St Petersburg.
