President Hakainde Hichilema has urged electorates in Chembe district to renew the UPND Administration’s mandate in the 2026, 13 August General Elections. Mr Hichilema pointed out that re-electing the UPND and him as President will ensure continuity of various development projects and programs being undertaken in the district and the country as a whole. Speaking in Chembe District during a public engagement at Chembe Secondary School, the President pledged to construct a District Hospital that will be critical to enhance quality healthcare services to the growing population of the district. “The upgraded pedicle road will enhance trade between Zambia and the neighboring countries like the DRC,” Mr Hichilema said. Meanwhile UPND Parliamentary Candidate for Chembe Constituency Cliff Mpundu called on Chembe residents to turn up in numbers to give President Hichilema and the UPND another five-year mandate.
