In response to Cynthia Dill’s Aug. 2 op-ed (“Susan Collins is a feminist’s best investment”), I would like to underscore two things that she failed to focus on. First is that Susan Collins is no moderate, level-headed representative of Maine. Secondly, Susan Collins has accepted millions of dollars from almost 100 out-of-state billionaires since 2025. One of them is that he actually listens to people, everyday Mainers, and is open to changing his mind. I certainly do and I suspect Cynthia Dill might think so too, as she used to stand ardently against Susan Collins.
