It has been interesting — for lack of a better word — to listen to Hannah Pingree be interviewed, if one could call leading, easy-to-answer questions with no follow-up an interview. She has been an assistant manager on a last-place team for those seven-plus years. Why is it a good choice for Maine to promote her to top manager for said team? Wouldn’t that be the definition of insanity, doing the same thing but expecting different results? Maine has ranked lower and lower each year in education, middle-class economics and employment opportunities since Jan. 2, 2019.
