Several Southwest Florida hospitals are top performers in Florida based on the latest analysis by U.S. News & World Report. U.S. News released Aug. 4 its annual report on best hospitals in the U.S. and in each of the states for 2026/27. Only 16% of the hospitals in the U.S. earned a best hospital designation. The best hospitals specialty rankings methodology measured patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
