The cost of CDs isn’t the tip of this iceberg, it’s the base, meaning the biggest cost. It’s just too inconvenient, and in keeping with the theme of this series, that means they’re a non-starter. Put another way, you might argue that the key to nostalgia isn’t remembering the past, it’s forgetting the past.
