Firefighters are still battling the flames from the Spokane wildfire complex, which consists of the Old Trails, Autumn Lane, and Fairview fires that began on August 1. The Autumn Lane fire is now at 37% contained, Old Trails is 23% contained and Fairview is at 31% contained. Aaron Farinacci, the Washington wildfire arson suspect, allegedly admitted to planning fires for weeks and has set about 25 in his neighborhood. Fire officials are warning that people have flown their drones illegally in the restricted areas around the Spokane fires more than 40 times this week. 26 drone incursions over the Spokane fires in one day.
