On August 9, the 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer took place at KINTEX in Goyang. For decades, SBS Gayo Daejeon has traditionally been held as a year-end music festival that usually takes place around Christmas. However, starting in 2024, SBS expanded the event into a biannual festival by launching a summer edition of Gayo Daejeon for the first time.
