A 48-year-old High Point man is facing a misdemeanor charge after a woman reported he made death threats to her while driving on Interstate 85. According to an arrest warrant, Walters reportedly told the driver that “she could die” and that he “will kill her.” He had been arrested Thursday on an unrelated misdemeanor charge of assault on a female. That warrant, filed by a High Point woman regarding an Aug. 1 incident, claims Walters pushed her into a dresser and bruised her arm.
