Ghana's national armwrestling team, the Golden Arms, will represent the country at the World Armwrestling Championship scheduled for October 26 to November 7, 2026, in New Delhi, India, as the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) steps up preparations for another major international assignment. The team will feature some of Ghana's most accomplished pullers, including world champion Grace Minta, world championship medallists Mabel Yeboah and Blessed Abeka Nunoo, and African champion Daniel Acquah. Mabel YeboahAs part of preparations for the New Delhi championship, the Golden Arms will commence a national camping programme to bring together selected athletes for intensive preparation. The World Championship forms part of the federation's broader strategy of developing elite athletes capable of winning medals at continental and global competitions. The team's objective at the 2026 World Armwrestling Championship will be to compete strongly, challenge for medals and further establish Ghana as a force in world armwrestling.
