Arsenal have made a surprise enquiry for Club Brugge defender Joaquin Seys, according to The Sun. He bagged five goals and eight assists in 55 appearances across all competitions for Club Brugge in the 2025/26 season. Club Brugge would love to keep hold of their highly-rated defender but are prepared to listen to offers in the region of €35 million (£30m). Despite those additions, the Gunners still have three more signings on their agenda if they are to build a squad capable of challenging for every major trophy next season. Spending £30m on Seys makes little sense unless manager Mikel Arteta specifically views the Belgium international as a left-footed right-back capable of offering something different.
