News ReleaseWARSAW – Thousands of people in Kosciusko County and surrounding areas are currently without power as a result of severe thunderstorms that occurred during the evening hours of Sunday, Aug. 9. Approximately 7,600 local NIPSCO customers are without power. Outages are as follows:Burket – 77Claypool – 268Leesburg – 197Mentone – 80North Webster – 749Silver Lake – 550Syracuse – 816Warsaw – 4,865Power outages for NIPSCO customers can be reported online. Kosciusko REMC is also reporting a widespread power outage for its customers.
