Two weekends ago, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) held the very first Toyota Legacy Experience, a three-day celebration specifically showcasing Toyota’s off-roading heritage with a view of current models through displays and test drives on both paved road and challenging dirt. To the side of the main event tent, heritage models of the Land Cruiser and Hilux were lined for the appreciation of attendees. He continued, “The Land Cruiser was developed with a clear and uncompromising mission: No matter where you go, you return safely. Mr. Chua Lim said that the Toyota Legacy Experience lends itself more to Toyota 4×4 enthusiasts, as opposed to a more racing-oriented affair like the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup. Meanwhile, the Land Cruiser is now electrified as well — equipped with a hybrid powertrain — giving it both oomph and fuel miserliness.
