NDLEA Busts Drug Networks, Arrests Badagry Dealer After 3-Month ManhuntLAGOS: Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a wanted drug dealer, Adome Claude Sikuru, in Badagry after a three-month manhunt, recovering 88.5kg of skunk from him. The Badagry arrest formed part of a nationwide crackdown in which the agency intercepted large consignments of cocaine and cannabis across Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Edo, Abia and other states. At the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, NDLEA operatives also arrested a 30-year-old Italy-based businessman, Joseph Cyril, who allegedly ingested 98 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.510kg. According to NDLEA, the suspect had arrived in Nigeria on July 13 and allegedly swallowed the cocaine in a hotel in Awka, Anambra State. In Lagos, NDLEA operatives intercepted 1.2kg of cocaine concealed inside 25 phone chargers destined for Saudi Arabia, while another 500g of cocaine was found hidden in a false-bottom backpack bound for Italy.
