T he first time I meet Hasan Piker, he’s meant to be 5,000 miles away. Piker says he’s had lots of offers from legacy-media networks, but he has no interest in giving up his independence. At the end of a stream, Piker is pretty wiped. Whether or not you think Piker is antisemitic, his fundamental stance on Israel isn’t far from the mainstream left. At least for a day, Piker takes another swing of his pickax.
