Calls to cut speed limit at ‘dangerous’ junction on Moray road

Calls are being made to lower the speed limit at a junction where four serious accidents have happened within the past six months.
All four have taken place on the B9013 road between Burghead and the A96 near Elgin as it passes through the village of College of Roseisle.
But there are now calls for the 50mph speed limit to be reduced to 30mph.
“All these collisions are clear evidence that the speed limit needs to be reduced in the interests of safety.”
“The current speed limit on the C25E is consistent with national guidance and the council's adopted policies.
