(Photo by Clive Rose/Getty Images)Chelsea are set to receive a significant financial windfall as Romelu Lukaku closes in on a move from Napoli to Turkish giants Fenerbahce. Lukaku has reportedly agreed in principle to join the Super Lig club, with negotiations progressing towards a transfer fee of around £9 million to £10 million (€10m) to finalize the transaction. Chelsea could receive £4m from Lukaku transferShould the transfer go through at the discussed valuation, Chelsea stand to gain directly from the deal due to contractual terms negotiated during Lukaku’s permanent departure to Naples. When the Blues sanctioned his transfer to Napoli, West London executives successfully inserted a 40 per cent sell-on clause on any future transfer fee generated by the forward. As a result of this clause, Chelsea are positioned to receive up to £4 million without needing to deploy further negotiating capital.
