The closure, for water works, starts on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 8am and will last until 5pm on Friday, August 21, 2026. Alternative routes will be available via the unaffected section of Ashgrove, Easby Road, Laisteride Lane, and Great Horton Lane. The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council issued the closure notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
