Mark Cunningham will ride from Bradford to Nairn in Scotland alongside friends Gavin Waddell and Steve Gilbert. Mr Cunningham, of Bradford, said: "Each year I've done a bit for Marie Curie. "This year we're doing it in memory of my friend Tony Coates. At Mr Coates's funeral, donations were made to TIA Greyhound Rescue Centre in Nairn, where the ride will finish. Tony was 'like a younger brother'Mr Cunningham described his long-standing friendship with Mr Coates, calling him a "massive Bradford City fan" and "like a younger brother" after meeting in the mid-1980s.
