Aug 09, 2026Dwayne PageA former DeKalb County Band Booster treasurer has been indicted by the DeKalb County Grand Jury for forgery and theftMegan Leanne Mosley was named in a 4 count sealed indictment Tuesday, August 4th and has been served for Theft of Property over $10,000 and three counts of forgery. She is to be arraigned in DeKalb County Criminal Court on Tuesday, August 18. Her bond is $30,000. The case was investigated by the Smithville Police Department. According to Count 1 of the indictment” Between the dates of January 1, 2021 and October 31, 2025 Mosley did unlawfully and knowingly obtain or exercise control over property, including but not limited to cash, valued at an amount greater than $10,000 belonging to the DeKalb County Band Boosters with intent to deprive the owner without the owner’s consent in violation of state law”.
