It is believed that the girl jumped into the river to escape the bee attack. According to reports, the father was taken for medical attention, but the teenager remains missing more than an hour after the incident. A relative told News 5 that the girl is believed to be between 17 and 18 years old. A swimming expert told News 5 that the murky water conditions is presenting a challenge in the search and rescue.
