In giving Kelly a sentence of 18 months, Ms Slack-Smith noted the time he had spent in custody, the insight he had shown and the supervision plan proposed as she said Kelly would be able to serve the sentence by way of an Intensive Correction Order (a custodial sentence of up to two years that the court decides can be served in the community).
