The small procession continued to the Lake George Battlefield Park where they were interred during a ceremony at the Repose of the Fallen Memorial.
They were all laid to rest in May at a new memorial called “Repose of the Fallen,” off Fort George Road in the Lake George Battlefield Park.
Lake George, the Hudson River and Lake Champlain were highways for Native Americans and thousands of soldiers, who fought in the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War.
The memorial site is especially significant to Hohmann, the former president of the Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance.
They were interred during a ceremony at the Repose of the Fallen Memorial at the Lake George Battlefield Park.
