Altech Batteries (ASX: ATC) has moved closer to the delivery of a next-generation, high-performance solution for the global energy storage market with an enhanced design of its CERENERGY sodium-chloride solid-state battery pack. The company’s latest research and development work has shown it could re-design the pack as a higher-capacity battery system. The improvements will deliver higher energy and power density, enhanced thermal performance, and cost reductions of approximately 30% at module and pack levels. These advancements deliver higher energy and power density, resulting in more competitive dollars per kWh and strengthening scalability towards full industrial production.
