Twenty employees from Amazon’s Redditch site came together to assemble 500 kits containing essential sexual health items, which are being donated to the LGBT Foundation. In partnership with LGBT Foundation, teams at more than 20 Amazon locations around the country have packed and donated 30,000 kits in total, including 2,500 from sites across the West Midlands. The Redditch contribution alone accounts for 500 of those kits. Amazon says community donations and staff volunteering are central to how it supports the towns and cities where it operates. Together with employees, customers and partners, Amazon says it has raised over £4.8m to support projects in the UK and abroad.
