Crews were first called to the blaze at Holme Fen Nature Reserve, in Holme, at 10.24am on Saturday (August 8). Firefighters remained at the scene throughout the night and returned on Sunday (August 9) where they remain. Neighbouring fire and rescue services have since joined the effort along with other specialist vehicles. A spokesperson said: "Crews are still responding to a fire at Holme Fen Nature Reserve in Holme. "More than 80 firefighters are at the scene, including from neighbouring fire and rescue services, and other specialist vehicles are in attendance.
