The walker had sustained an ankle injury following the slip, which happened near Llantysilio on Wednesday (August 5). North East Wales Search and Rescue members made their way to the casualty to assess the injury, while additional team members brought the equipment needed for the evacuation. She was then taken to hospital by a friend for further assessment and treatment. North East Wales Search and Rescue said: “A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who responded, as well as the local land owners and everyone involved in achieving a safe and positive outcome. “We wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.”
