‘False alarm with good intent’ prompts search for Rhos-on-Sea paddleboarder

Llandudno RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat was tasked shortly after 4pm on Saturday (August 8) following a report of concern for the paddleboarder.
A member of the public had been monitoring the paddleboarder from shore but became concerned after losing sight of the paddleboard.
The lifeboat proceeded to the area and, with assistance from Llandudno Coastguard, located the paddleboarder.
Upon coming alongside, the volunteer crew established that the paddleboarder was safe and well and was simply enjoying a day out on the water.
Llandudno RNLI said: “This was a false alarm with good intent.
