Emily Carrick-Anderson has been racing since she was five years old and has already featured at two Downhill Mountain Biking World Cups so far.
Emily said: “I’ve been racing mountain bikes since I was five, but this is only my second year racing downhill.
“I think I’ve improved a lot since starting last year and my results in world cups this year have been far better.
Emily explained: “We were at one of the world cups and we thought it was costing a lot of money and we needed to do something to help out.
“I’m lucky that my parents help out and I’ve been working multiple part-time jobs to also help.
