Launched by the Cornwall Historic Churches Trust (CHCT), the contest aims to highlight the heritage and seasonal atmosphere of Cornwall’s church buildings. "We know that fewer people send Christmas cards than they once did, yet there remains a real demand for cards that celebrate Cornwall and are made here in the county. "These churches are part of the fabric of Cornish life, and I am delighted to help find the images that do them justice." A selection of winning images will be printed as Christmas cards and sold in Cornwall, with proceeds supporting the trust's work conserving historic church buildings. Winning photographs will appear on Christmas cards sold online and at various locations across the county.
