At 63, he took a leap of faith by volunteering with With You in Cornwall. "I knew that I wanted to make a difference, so I started looking for volunteering opportunities, which is how I came across WithYou." After completing the volunteer training, Ken quickly took on more responsibilities, including driving clients to appointments and facilitating Mutual Aid Partnership groups in North East Cornwall. "I started co-facilitating the group with Victoria, a recovery worker, and helping with recovery support check-ins," says Ken. After a year of volunteering, Ken’s dedication has led to a full-time paid position as a recovery worker at WithYou.
