Now aged three, Aiden has spastic quadriplegia, a form of cerebral palsy which affects all four limbs and makes movement extremely difficult. As Aiden grew older, the family were able to borrow a Wizzybug powered wheelchair through a charity loan scheme. His family is now hoping to raise enough money to buy a replacement powered wheelchair that can support him as he grows. Sophie said the family hopes to secure a wheelchair that will allow Aiden to continue moving independently, exploring the world around him and enjoying childhood experiences alongside other children his age. The family says any contribution, regardless of size, will help towards giving Aiden the freedom to keep moving, playing and smiling.
