Jim Capaldi made Marlow his home for many years and became one of the town’s most celebrated creative figures. The new plaque has been installed as part of the Marlow Society heritage plaque programme, which recognises notable people who have lived in or made a significant contribution to the town. Jim Capaldi now joins a distinguished group of creative, cultural and historic figures whose stories continue to enrich Marlow’s heritage. Speaking at the unveiling, Aninha Capaldi said: “Jim chose this house in 1971 to make Marlow his home. The Jim Capaldi plaque joins the growing collection of heritage plaques across Marlow, each highlighting the lives and achievements of individuals whose contributions have left a lasting mark on the town and beyond.
