On Saturday, August 8, Neighbourhood Team officers, supported by Thames Valley Police's Mounted Section, were out engaging with the community, providing reassurance and tackling local concerns when the arrest was made. Visible neighbourhood policing plays an important role in preventing crime, tackling anti-social behaviour and supporting residents and businesses across the town. Following the arrest, officers will remain in Chesham. They said: “Visible neighbourhood policing remains an important part of preventing crime, tackling anti-social behaviour, and reassuring the community. “We'll continue to carry out this work and, from time to time, we'll even post a photograph of it.
