The event coincides with pre-season friendlies – Musselburgh v Dundee, with kick-off at 3pm, and MRFC under-15s v Portobello, with kick-off at 11am. Visitors to the open day can hear more about joining the rugby club. Free face painting for children aged three-plus is available from noon to 3pm, and a free disco for youngsters under eight takes place 1.30-2.30pm. There will also be club shops from noon to 3pm. The open day is free and all are welcome.
