New shop and laundrette planned at popular Seton Sands Holiday Park
['Anna Mcalinden']
East Lothian Courier | News
Haven Leisure Ltd, operators of the holiday park, east of Port Seton, has applied to East Lothian Council for permission to build a shop, laundrette and bin store to replace the shop and laundrette currently open under temporary planning permission.
A drop-off bay for deliveries and servicing the shop would also be created.
The shop would serve holidaymakers but also be open to the public, with cycle parking included to encourage access by local residents and visitors.
The holiday park is the county's largest provider of visitor accommodation, with space for up to 4,500 guests.
It is also one of East Lothian's biggest private employers, with a workforce of up to 250 during peak season.
