Beaufort Community Centre will return to service after closing in April when the Beaufort Community Association stopped operating the site and surrendered its lease. BCP Council will take over responsibility for the building and is working with residents to reopen the centre and explore its future use. Cllr Sandra Moore, BCP Council cabinet member for communities and partnerships, said: “We’re delighted to be working with the community to reopen Beaufort Community Centre and bring this valued local facility back into use. “We look forward to welcoming residents back in September and seeing Beaufort Community Centre once again at the heart of the community.” “We also want to hear from local residents what they would like to see provided.
