The sports club, on Hursley Park Road, was destroyed in the blaze, which took hold at 11pm last night. Speaking to the Echo, Harry said: "We drove up by the building and saw probably seven incident response units and eight fire engines plus we saw lights of more from the field. "Then we got to near the cricket field and the fire was huge and visible from Hiltingbury, where we originally saw it. "We saw probably a dozen firefighters while trying to observe it from the cricket field. The fire took hold at around 11pm on Saturday (Image: Harry Pettit)"As soon as we got there the heat was clear and you could feel it on your face.
