New England Patriots legend Adam Vinatieri’s bust was officially unveiled in Canton on Saturday as only the third kicker in pro football history to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Vinatieri chose Colts owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon to introduce him at the ceremony. That’s not all that surprising for Patriots fans, considering Vinatieri’s messy split from the Patriots in 2006. Adam Vinatieri told me the tie he wore during his Hall of Fame speech was late owner Jim Irsay’s. It was a last-minute wardrobe change and was given to him on enshrinement day by current Colts owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon - also his presenter - and her sisters.
