The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) and adjoining Royal Hospital for Children have been at the centre of a major infection scandal since opening in 2015.
The potential costs cover remedial work across the wider hospital estate, including plans for a new adult bone marrow transplant unit after persistent leaks and mould affected the existing facility.
A spokesperson said: “While a range of potential rectification costs across the wider QEUH estate have been identified and estimated, these figures remain indicative.”
Police are continuing to investigate seven deaths – three children and four adults – potentially connected to infections at the QEUH campus.
The Scottish Government said ministers would consider proposals for remediation work, including a replacement bone marrow transplant unit.
