Last month, Alstom invited us to the Didcot Railway Centre to see staff take on a charity event by pulling steam locomotive Trojan. Variety, the Children’s Charity, supports disabled children across the UK and provides life-changing equipment, including wheelchairs and other specialist equipment. The Pulling with Purpose: The Steam Locomotive Challenge saw the team pull No. 1340 Trojan for a full hour in aid of Variety, the Children’s Charity. A massive well done to those involved, and a huge thank you to both Alstom and the Didcot Railway Centre for inviting us.
