Speaking during her Studio Sessions residency at Caesars Palace on Saturday (08.08.26), Kelly introduced her song I’d Be Lyin’ by explaining the real‑life drama behind it. She said: “I swear to God, I’ve had to break up with someone twice. You feel like a piece of s*** both times, P.S. A lot of us… deserved better, and that’s a tough thing to grow up with… it’s a tough thing to find healthy relationships when you’ve never been shown one.”
