He was born on October 12, 1966, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert and JoAnn Elwell. John proudly served in the United States Army, embodying a spirit of dedication and service. John is survived by his beloved mother, JoAnn Elwell; his loving wife, Vicki Zaczyk; and his two children, Kaitlyn Elwell (E.J. John was preceded in death by his father and his infant brother, Joseph.
