Wild Week In Concord: Arson, Assault, Drugs And Hit-and-Run Lead Weekly Report

Concord Police made a number of arrests on suspicion of crimes including arson, felony hit-and-run, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and drug offenses between July 29 and Aug. 4, according to the department’s latest arrest report.
Among the arrests, a 55-year-old man was arrested Aug. 2 on suspicion of felony arson involving property in the 2700 block of Parkside Circle.
A 50-year-old man was also arrested that day on suspicion of DUI, controlled substance possession and driving without a license.
Police also reported several domestic violence-related arrests during the week, along with arrests involving warrants, probation violations, drug possession, resisting officers, vandalism and trespassing.
No burglaries were reported Aug. 2 or Aug. 3.
