The near-fatal stabbing of Sandra Joann Clantz occurred at the Capri Motel at 3245 E Fremont St. in Las Vegas on Nov. 22, 2024. Clantz claimed he traveled from Michigan specifically to meet her at the Capri Motel, where he stabbed her 27 times and left her outside the room, believing she would die. The newspaper’s attempts to contact the operator of the Capri Motel were unsuccessful.
